Call to Order
The Band Boosters meeting officially began at 7:33 pm at GTJHS and was presided over by Traci Poppert, with Dan Failacci acting as secretary.

President’s Report – Traci
- Upcoming events were reviewed.
- Some events we didn’t do last year due to the small size of the group. Want to bring some back that haven’t been done in the past two years – such as Breakfast with Santa.
- Notes passed over to Robin.
- SpiritWear – get order forms out earlier this year.
- New vendor
- Logo design – 80 submissions of designs narrowed to 2 designers.
- Full color logo $200 for design – we can do whatever we want as we own the logo.
- SS/LS shirt options; jackets $75 each.
- Taking care of popsicles for band camp – waiting for car washes to die down first.
- Uniforms – Bibber half-way or ?
- 20 jackets need to be dry-cleaned.
- Absent – no report
- MAY 2022 -- $5,324.24 IN, $9,122.10 OUT
- Income sources = General donations, interest, Hershey Park tickets, Jazz Night, Restaurant night, banquet.
- Expenses = Hershey Park tickets, Scrip fee, Guard flags, uniforms, busses.
- Excited about show; waiting on music.
- Still waiting on a few instruments – 3 tubas/sound system/carts
- Everyone should be in google group & band app – info will go to both.
- Contract is out & must be signed by 7/7; several already received.
- Need physical copy of confidential health card to keep on file.
- Physical forms in lockbox in Nick’s office.
- Handbook with contracts & guidelines for all music at TJ.
- Fees = $450: 7/7 $125, 8/4 $125, 9/1 $100, 10/6 $100
- No Paypal or digital payment this year; CASH OR CHECK ONLY.
- Taxes too costly for other payment methods.
- Krista absent; please send money on time.
- Raise Right (scrip) $308 IN -- $244 student accounts & $44 general fund
- SCRIP – Earn free $$ for your kid’s band account!
- Committee meeting following tonight’s booster meeting.
- Trying to raise $15K for the year.
- BandAid at band camp, Bingo, Christmas Greenery, Hershey Park
- Summer car washes –
- $1300 so far.
- Remaining dates -- 7/2, 7/16, 7/30
- Elections –
- Voted unanimously to keep the same Board members. (Traci, Jaclyn, Ellen)
- Election moved to June meeting – 1st Dan, 2nd Denise, unanimous
- Potential new Board members – 1st VP Robin Marquart, 2nd VP Jo McManus
